Pottery Clay Moulding (Over 18s)
A truly immersive journey where guests sculpt professional pottery clay by hand and/or with tools to create consistent shapes such as bowls or plates, or something completely unique.
This is a two-hour session, with all materials and equipment provided. Your creation (ornament or utensil) will be fired in our kiln and ready for collection two weeks later.
Two-hour sessions are bookable every 30 minutes.
This is a self-guided workshop, however our staff are on hand to assist with tips, suggestions, and inspiration. All abilities are welcome.

- • Firing of the clay to create bisque (turning the clay solid)

Painting Your Fired Clay (Bisque)
Once you have completed the Pottery Clay Moulding session, you can book this two-hour painting session to give your hardened clay — known in the pottery world as bisque — its own personality.
You will use professional pottery paints to transform your bisque sculpture into a finished, usable creation. Once dipped and fired, the piece will be both food- and drink-safe.
Your painted bisque will remain with us for firing, and will be ready to collect 7–14 days after your session.
